Over the course of a weekend, research and design solutions to reduce anxiety in the BART experience.
I created the brand identity for a corporate events venue and conference center in Guangzhou, China. The project includes logo design, environmental design, marketing materials and mockup of the website on desktop and mobile. This is a student project.
I wanted to represent the progress and movement happening in the city of Guangzhou as well as the people that are being drawn to it from all over the world. The brand communicates Guangzhou’s importance in building China's economy and cultural significance for both workers and for its growing art scene. l focused on Guangzhou as a symbol and place full of growth + progress. Because it is an events center it should feel bold + exciting and welcome the diversity of the international community.
I drew inspiration from shapes and structures common in Guangzhou. Being a port it has a lot of shipping containers, cranes and new buildings.
This is the website homepage the the venue. I wanted to Guangzhou Industry Park to be represented as a premiere venue attracting international companies and entertainment.
